ASC Setup: Enable Ambulatory Surgery Center Features

Important
The following describes an opt-in feature for practices that have ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs). To enable this feature for your organization, contact the Customer Support Center (CSC). On the Main Menu, click Support then Create Case or Call. For more information, see ASC Setup: Enable ASC Features.

 

ASC Managers or Administrators: Review the following to enable ASC features.

  1. Contact the CSC – Ask them to enable surgical case documentation for your organization.

    On the Main Menu, click Support then Create Case or Call.
  2. Assign an appointment type – Assign at least one appointment type to the new Surgical Case layout. For detailed directions, see ASC Setup: Assign Appointment Types.
